Bird Watching

Anyone interested in bird-watching will love this area.  The gently sloping  and heavily wooded hills and valleys are a haven for bird life.  The area is particularly noted for birds of prey and  red kites are extremely common –  often to be seen soaring majestically down our valley.  We also see buzzard, goshawk and kestrel.  There is a red kite feeding station,  at Llanddeusant about six miles from us where you can witness these truly magnificent birds close up.

For those of you interested in smaller birds you will see red starts, willow tits, pied wagtails, finches, nut hatches etc.
