Thanks Debs for your hospitality and the lovely little touches you do.  Both Phil and I really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for the fabulous weekend stay in your lovely B&B!  The location is wonderful and the view of the night sky is stunning.  You made us feel so welcome and your little touches like the hot water bottles in the bed and delicious cakes and scones go above & beyond.  We really enjoyed meeting George, Humbug, Beau, Tigger and all of the chickens too!  Rocky, while being a bit overwhelmed loved meeting them too.  Debs, you and Bob have something quite special here.  We wish you all the best 🙂  Cheers Heather, Kyle & Rocky.

Thank you for a very warm welcome to Gwarllwyn.  We were shocked by how wonderful the accommodation is, and in such a beautiful setting.  Thank you for the lovely breakfasts.  I think Paul will be buying an egg frying machine now!  Loved the huge bath, scones, hot water bottles, comfy bed and most importantly all of the animals!!  Thank you for going the extra length to make our stay even more enjoyable.  We would love to come back in the future.

Had a lovely short break in this lovely area.  Great hosts, nothing too much trouble, for us accommodated our Collie, Nell, and after the local coloured sheep sale our new purchases too!  Comfy bed and nice homely touches everywhere.  Fab food and the extra mile of home bakes every tea time! (Yum!)  Great tour of the resident sheep, ponies and chickens and resident dog too.  All over too quick, will be back again.  Thanx from all of us. xx

Thank you so much Debs & Bob for making this such a brilliant stay.  You excel at all of the little things which is what makes this place so incredible.  Chris was amazed as this was like no other B&B he had ever stayed in.  This place is truly one of a kind and I can’t wait to come back again!  Hopefully see you in March!  Thanks again for everything you did to make us feel so at home.

See you soon. Tiegen & Chris xx

Fantastic stay, albeit brief, in Debs & Bob’s barn conversion.  We were made to feel very welcome, and the accomodation  is certainly comfortable & cosy.  Lovely countryside too, we’ll have to come back for longer next time to really appreciate the scenery.  Thanks again.

P.S.  The hot water bottles were very welcome – Autumn is here!

Where to begin………….  For a long time we have been planning to come to Wales for our first holiday in the UK.  We happened upon Gwarllwyn B&B by chance and when we saw the website it immediately stole our hearts.  And we are grateful for that, for Debs and Bob are amazing hosts.  after a 15 hour drive they welcomed us to Gwarllwyn and showed us around.  The next morning we had a long chat and they were very helpful explaining all kinds of things to us about the region and the UK in general.  We explored different parts of the Brecon Beacons region and when in doubt about where to go, what to do Debs was always around to give us tips.  She even went looking for a map of the hills and forests surrounding Gwarllwyn.

The hearty breakfast was so abundant that it got us through the rest of the day easily, and when we came “home” after our long walks there was always some tasty sweets waiting for us.  Debs, besides being a terrific hostess you are also a great pastry baker and a good listener.  When we dropped the word “pancakes” in the morning, in the evening we found sweets baked and shaped like pancakes!  🙂

Bob, when we were having a chat and the subject got to be about cars you were happy to show us that superb Jaguar of yours.  An amazing car!

For us the both of you have defined the meaning of “hospitality” and we thank you for that.  Warm regards.
